Breaking Bad Characters, Ranked Least To Most Likely To Win The Hunger Games

Breaking Bad is full of ruthless characters who are willing to bend or break the rules, but if they were competing in The Hunger Games, who'd win?

Breaking Bad is one of the most popular shows to hit television, and a large part of that is due to the dynamic and intriguing characters that fans got to know throughout the seasons. From dangerous to manipulative to kind to loyal, there’s a lot of different aspects to these characters that make them unique.

If Walter White, his crew, and his family were to find themselves as tributes for The Hunger Games, some would certainly have higher odds of winning than others. It’s time to stack them against each other and see who’d have the best shot – and may the odds be ever in their favor.

Marie Schrader

Marie on the phone in Breaking Bad

Marie has fire and ambition, but she doesn’t really have any skills that would help her in the arena. For starters, she hates violence and conflict. She’s never really had any experience with weapons or combat, either.

She would likely hide out until there was nowhere left for her to go. Unfortunately for Marie, she likely wouldn’t stand a chance. Fans can feel bad for her, but they also might not root for her.

Saul Goodman

Breaking Bad Saul

Saul might do well if he could convince some other tributes to stay by his side and fight for him. He likes to use bodyguards, but normally Saul can be a bit cowardly, and he’ll usually avoid fighting for himself at all costs.

After his allies were gone, he’d be left in the open for just about anyone to get him. Plus, his allies might just actually turn on him. He’s all talk, and the arena isn’t about that.

Badger

Badger tells Jesse about Star Wars in Breaking Bad

This lovable and hilarious character is a great guy to have in the background, but fans haven’t exactly been shown that he’s capable of defending himself or anyone else.

Badger would be a great friend or ally, but he would also probably freak out and not know what to do in the arena. He’s not great at combat, and he’s a little too reckless to do well.

Skyler White

Breaking Bad Skyler

There haven’t been many times when fans have seen Skyler wield a weapon or try to defend herself in hand-to-hand combat, yet somehow, fans are convinced she’d have a fighting chance.

She’s smarter than most give her credit for, and she also has a strong mind and the determination to do her best and be better than everyone else. She would dig in her heels and fight to her last breath.

Todd

Breaking Bad Todd

Todd is definitely one of the cruelest characters from the series, and that in itself gives him a leg up on his competitors. Todd knows how to shoot, and he’s also a big enough guy that he could hold his own.

However, his downfall is definitely his recklessness and his arrogance. He would get in over his head, and would probably fire a shot way too soon.

Hank Schrader

Breaking Bad Hank

Hank is one tough cookie, and while his biggest flaw is certainly also his hubris, he would stand a fighting chance. He isn’t the quickest, but he’s patient and intelligent.

He could stand back and take fire when the time was right. Furthermore, he’s no newbie in the field, and that training would definitely come in handy. However, he might get caught up if it came to a fistfight.

Gus Fring

Breaking Bad Gus

Gus Fring would likely have a small troop of allies that all listened to his every order. Besides that, though, Gus can hold his own. He’s vindictive, smart, patient, and willing to do just about anything.

He’s stronger than he looks, and he certainly knows how to use a variety of weapons. Gus would do well, but he wouldn’t win, because he is easily distracted by his passion and his pride.

Jesse Pinkman

Breaking Bad Jesse

Jesse is probably everyone’s favorite character, and out of everyone on the list, he’d probably be the least excited about having to kill others to win. However, he’d also dig deep and do well – because Jesse is resourceful and resilient.

He knows how to use a gun, and he also would certainly be smart enough to wait along the edges rather than going in guns blazing. If Jesse wasn’t going to win, it would be because he has too good of a heart.

Mike Ehrmantraut

Breaking Bad Mike

There’s something about Mike that all fans can agree makes him one of the most equipped competitors to take on the arena. He’s shockingly patient, and he’s also probably the most skilled when it comes to weapons and combat.

Mike literally has no problem with taking lives, and he wants to fight for himself and his family so bad that he would have nothing to lose. If one thing was going to stop him from being the victor, it would be a lack of fire.

Walter White

Breaking Bad Walter

Walter White is undoubtedly one of the most intelligent characters to ever hit the small screen, and he is so innovative and creative that he would make so many traps and tools to help him in the arena.

He would outsmart his opponents, and he’s also willing to kill and inflict pain. Walt has no filter, and he’d do anything to win. Beyond that, he’s handy with a gun. Walter has a lot of flaws, but his strengths would lead him to be the victor of the games.
