Swank and Schneider got married at Saint Lucia Preserve in Carmel, California. Her father was able to walk her down the aisle, which was possible thanks to his health improvements. She spoke to Vogue about the day and shared details of her favorite moments, stating that the day was a dream come true and completely timeless.
Guests dined on traditional Californian cuisine and enjoyed a fun tap dance put on by Swank and her new husband. But it was the surrounding redwoods that became the inspiration for the gorgeous dress she wore.
Swank’s dress was made by none other than Elie Saab, who she’s loved for years. Made of Chantilly lace, silk chiffon, and organza silk, it took six feet of tulle to create the veil. The embroidery alone took 70 hours to complete out of the 150 hours it took to piece together the entire dress. But it was worth it.

Swank doesn’t have any kids at this time, but she’s a huge advocate for pet adoption, rescuing several dogs that would become her pets over the years.
