The Maria Callas Monaco Gala and Awards is an event inspired by the legendary evening held in Monaco in 1960 when Maria Callas sang for the royal couple. Prince Rainier and Princess Grace of Monaco were mesmerized by her unique voice.
The event has been taking place for two years, in memory of that occasion: Greek culture is celebrated and homage is paid to the memory of the Divine for a good cause, that is, to raise funds for charity.
Bellucci participated in the charity evening that allowed to raise funds for the Fondation Princesse Charlene de Monaco, which helps children of all ages and from all backgrounds (social and geographical).
