Next-Level Mandalorian Cosplay Turns Motorcycle Into Real-Life Speeder

This The Mandalorian cosplayer takes things up a notch by retrofitting a motorcycle to become a speeder, complete with a backseat pouch for Grogu.

A The Mandalorian cosplayer is going viral for having not just an impressive outfit, but a real-life speeder to match. The Disney+ series remains one of the streaming service’s most popular original programs, following the adventures of Mandalorian bounty hunter Din Djarin and his charge Grogu, affectionately known as “Baby Yoda.” After launching episode 1 on the same day as the Disney+ platform itself in 2019, The Mandalorian followed up with a well-received season 2, and season 3 is expected to premiere in late-2022.

Naturally, passionate cosplayers have tried their hand at recreating the Mandalorian’s beskar armor. Not long after The Mandalorian debuted on Disney+, Mattel released a Grogu doll that became a popular accessory. Content creators across social media have since dressed up as Din Djarin and taken Grogu everywhere from Disney World to mundane trips to the grocery store, racking up thousands of likes and views for their impressive dedication to detail.

For some cosplayers, that dedication goes even further. Twitter user @gueronieves caught a The Mandalorian cosplayer driving down West Merrick Road in Valley Stream, New York. The person appears to have retrofitted a motorcycle to look like a Star Wars speeder, complete with a backseat pouch for Grogu and reflective mirrors hiding the wheels. Check out the video below:

Star Wars cosplayers have always been notoriously creative. This The Mandalorian cosplayer, however, takes things up a notch by incorporating a real, working vehicle into the look. Whether the rider was going anywhere important, heading to a costume party, or just cruising along remains a mystery. Whatever the case, they certainly knew this was the perfect way to charm commuters driving down an ordinary street on an average day.

Considering it’s been almost two years since the last episode of The Mandalorian, clearly the hype for the show hasn’t died as many await season 3. Disney+ has yet to confirm a release date, though many believe The Mandalorian season 3 premiere will drop some time this year. In the meantime, fans have enjoyed watching the adventures of Din Djarin and Grogu continue in The Book of Boba Fett, which some have jokingly referred to as The Mandalorian season 2.5. Viral cosplay videos on social media have also helped satiate those who’ve hankering for The Mandalorian content. With Star Wars Day (that is, May 4) approaching, there’s no doubt that more cosplayers will use the occasion as an opportunity to show off their skills in full force.
