The Chi Season 4 Episode 7: Cast, Theme, Plot
Aired on January 29, The Chi Season 4 Episode 7: The Chi Season 4 Episode 7 (2019) The Theta Bomb”, we are still at war, with a lot of soldiers dying in the Vietnam War.
The episode starts off with Joan and Justine hanging out at some pool party hosted by Dr. Theo and his wife Freda. The place they live is pretty amazing like I wouldn’t mind living there for real. But this lifestyle comes with a price tag as you may pay an insane amount for electricity bills I guess, yet they just don’t seem to worry about that stuff since their life seems perfect from an outside perspective.
CHAPTER 2: The Life Of A Soldier
After hanging around at the pool party, The Chi Season 4 Episode 7 briefly gave us glimpses of what’s going on with Ernest, Ruby, and Ronnie. The episode mostly focused on Fudge as he was trying to avoid his duty as a soldier in Vietnam War. The way he did that was so funny, I didn’t see it coming.
“The Theta Bomb” is a great episode overall without any major flaw that can ruin my experience watching it. The story development and concept were great throughout the whole hour length of the episode. The characters’ acting was pretty good too. I know this show has potential but they missed out in some parts when it comes to pacing, tone, and comedy/drama balance which are pretty big for me because they could’ve done better with The Theta Bomb even better.

The Theta Bomb is The Chi’s Season 4 Episode 7 which was told from two different timelines. The Protagonist, Ronnie, a young man working with Old Town businesses to stop The Chi’s gentrification while the antagonist Fudge returns home after serving his time in prison. The Theta Bomb takes place on both timelines – A story of Ronnie (now) and that of Fudge (then). What happens in these 2 plotlines – What did they do? How it affects them? Why did they do it? Venue: The Theta House Theta House is the headquarters of The Chi. It was founded by Twan’s older brother Kevin and Twan leads the club these days. The Theta house is a place for young people to come to complete their homework and pursue higher education while staying away from violence in The Chi. In this episode, we see it as a setting when TJ babysits Tisha who lives here. Furthermore, space serves as an event location that hosted Fudge’s birthday party where The Disciples were present too.
The Protagonist: Ronnie Ronny is one of the prominent characters in season 4 and a member of The Theta Club. In The Chi Season 4 Episode 7, we see him as the main character in this scene where he prepares Fudge’s birthday party for The Theta members.
The setting is Theta house, an all-male organization founded by Twan’s older brother Kevin. The Theta House is located in Chicago’s South Side (see map below) and you can find it at 3141 S Drexel Ave, Chicago, IL 60608 [as of 2018]. We know that because Ronnie Ronny posts a video from The Chi season 4 episode 7 in which he announces the location of the next party: 3141 S Drexel Ave…Chi-Town. . That building has been The Theta house since the sitcom’s first season, and it is home to The Theta Club.
Holy Sticky Icky! The Chi Season 4 Episode 7 confirms an old rumor: that the Theta Club in The Chi series takes place at Kevin’s house.
In The Chi Season 4 Episode 6, we see Twan invite Kofi over for Fudge’s birthday party…We know this because Fudge is hanging out with Kofi at a pool hall and gives him some cash to buy food…and then he calls Twan while they are waiting for Kofi to come back (see image above). Here you can see them together in The Chi season 4 episode 7 .
Well, here comes Kofo with his famous Po’Joe. The Theta Club has their famous Po’Jo on The The Chi season 4 episode 7 and he is played by…Terrance Howard. The actor who plays Fudge’s Dad at The Theta house. You know, the one who never talks? This was confirmed when Kofi says “Kofo,” while talking to him in The Chi season 4 episode 7, and then goes over to hug him. It’s a small detail but it fits perfectly as others in The Chi series have mentioned the lack of conversation from Kofo.
