Ed O’Neill as Al Bundy

Katey Sagal as Peggy Bundy

After playing Peggy Bundy, the Oprah-loving and lazy mother on “Married with Children,” Katey Sagal went on to famously portray the villainous Gemma Teller Morrow in “Sons of Anarchy,” a role that won her a Golden Globe for Best Actress in a Television Series Drama. The 63-year-old actress also played Cate S. Hennessy on “8 Simple Rules for Dating My Teenage Daughter” from 2002 to 2005 and voiced the character Leela in the animated series “Futurama.” Her most recent work is for the upcoming television film “Dirty Dancing” as the ever-so-sexual Vivian Pressman. (Fox, Richard Shotwell/Invision/AP)

Christina Applegate as Kelly Bundy

Christina Applegate went from the stereotypical dumb blonde as Kelly Bundy to the cunning and powerful Veronica Corningstone in “Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy.” Most recently she starred in “Bad Moms” as the unlikeable Gwendolyn. Aside from continuing to work in films and on television, Applegate has also worked to help other women with breast cancer after learning of her diagnosis in 2008. David Faustino as Bud Bundy

Since playing the intelligent and awkward Bud Bundy, David Faustino has made appearances in numerous TV shows, including “Modern Family,” where his former co-star Ed O’Neill works as a main character. Faustino also famously was busted for possessing marijuana in 2007 and enrolled in a drug rehab center. Amanda Bearse has kept a relatively low profile since playing Marcy Rhoades D’Arcy, the Bundy’s next-door neighbor who is Peggy’s best friend and Al’s nemesis.
